What a fantastic way to kick off the new year! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I loved the layout that offered a bit of privacy with separate areas. Super handy location close to everything we wanted, and the pool area was a blast for our family. The friendly staff made our stay feel even more special, always ready to help. Seriously, a great spot for a family getaway!
We ended up parking further from our room on one night, which was a bit annoying. But honestly, it didn’t ruin our overall experience!

A Great Business Stay at Mackay!
During my recent business trip to Mackay, our director selected the Mackay Resort Motel, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the choice. The tranquil Tuscan resort-style swimming pool was such a lovely retreat after a long day of meetings—complete with sun lounges and a charming fountain, it offered a picturesque backdrop overlooking the iconic Pioneer River. The location is also convenient, making it easy to navigate to my business appointments. The staff were warm and welcoming, ensuring all my needs were met. I appreciated the quiet ambiance, which allowed me to relax and recharge in between my busy schedule.
No microwave in room.

I recently stayed in a spacious room that was perfect for my family of four. After a long 5-hour drive, I was relieved to find the room clean and welcoming.
I did notice a minor issue with the Wi-Fi connectivity, which was occasionally spotty. Despite this slight inconvenience, it didn't significantly detract from our overall experience.

the room was well-equipped and immaculate, with a large fridge and a small cooktop, which made self-catering a breeze. we appreciated the under-cover parking right at our doorstep and loved the peaceful environment, as our room was located away from the traffic noise. the shower had really good water pressure, and we enjoyed the breakfast delivery on our last morning—it was good!
Nothing, all great! 😄.

The noise outside was unbearable, with people chatting loudly until almost midnight. It really disrupted our sleep. On top of that, we had issues with the shower and faucet. Definitely not the relaxing getaway we hoped for!
